Dental Hygienist
About the role
White Pine Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their team. Located at 283 S Ten Mile Rd, Meridian, Idaho 83642, the work schedule is flexible, open to part-time, with options including Monday 7:30am - 4pm, Tuesday 6:30am - 4pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 6pm, and Friday 7:30am - 1pm. The position works with one doctor who utilizes Dentrix for scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures
- Conduct 60-minute recall appointments and 90-minute new patient exams
- Utilize Arestin, iTero, and Velscope technologies
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills

Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Idaho and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
- CPR certification preferred
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
