Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction
• Perform routine dental hygiene procedures such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
• Document patient histories and dental examinations accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients to educate them about oral health and preventive care
• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive patient experience

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in New Hampshire
• A minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR certification
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Part-time opportunity available, with potential to add Monday hours for additional hours.
