Dental Hygienist

Location: My Family Dental Southfield, Southfield Family Dental Center

About the role

We are growing and looking to add a full-time Hygienist to our established and patient-focused practice. Join a technology-forward, supportive team in a stable environment with a large patient base and a positive, team-oriented culture.

• 1-hour recall appointments
• 1.5-hour scaling & root planing (SRP)

Schedule

• Monday & Thursday: 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 am–7:00 pm

Pay

$50–$53/hour + monthly bonus opportunity

Requirements

• MI Dental Hygiene License (or currently awaiting licensing — new grads welcome!)
• Strong communication skills and a warm interpersonal style
• Experience (or training) in full-spectrum dental hygiene: perio charting, x-rays, prophy, SRP, patient education, fluoride, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform hygiene exams, cleanings, and periodontal care
• Take and interpret dental x-rays
• Chart and monitor periodontal health
• Provide patient education (oral hygiene, prevention, etc.)
• Use our advanced technology (Trios intraoral scanner, Pearl AI, Eaglesoft, CBCT) to enhance care
• Partner with our clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dentistry
