About the role
We are seeking a skilled and caring Dentist to join Gentle Dental Center to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients while ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and oral health.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of dental professionals, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, to deliver exceptional dental services.
- Conducting thorough oral examinations, reviewing patients’ dental and medical histories, and diagnosing dental conditions and diseases.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on patients’ oral health needs and goals.
- Interpreting diagnostic tests and performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crown and bridge work, dentures, and dental implants.
- Administering anesthetics and sedatives as necessary for patient comfort during dental procedures.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive dental care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborating with dental specialists, as needed, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in dental techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Managing and supervising dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other dental staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the dental practice.
- Fostering a positive and welcoming dental office environment, providing excellent customer service and patient care.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Current state license to practice dentistry and be in good standing.
