Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care as an integral member of the patient care team
• Give patients the time and care they need, deserve and desire
• Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
• Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Open to new graduates or seasoned hygienists
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions

Pay

Hourly pay plus ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; no late nights or weekends.
