About the Role

Join a collaborative team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist at ForwardDental in Menomonee Falls, WI. New graduates are welcome to apply. Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support to over 1,900 dental offices across 39 states and the District of Columbia. Supported doctors retain full clinical autonomy and establish their own care philosophies while being united by a common goal: delivering the highest quality dental care and patient experiences.

Hygienists in CT, MD, NC, NV, and WA work for a supported professional corporation (PC) and are not employed by Heartland Dental.

Responsibilities

  • Provide elite clinical care and act as a patient advocate.
  • Serve as an integral member of the patient care team, delivering the time and care patients need and deserve.
  • Offer exceptional lifetime care to patients with the support of best-in-class resources.
  • Utilize high-quality supplies and labs to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in WI.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening.
  • Proficiency in medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs.
  • Commitment to providing preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.

Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
