About the role
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Perform dental cleanings and examine gums
- Record dental conditions and maintain dental records
- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment
- Promote preventive oral care to patients
- Use dental instruments and x-ray machines
- Apply fluoride treatments
- Administer local anesthesia
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide patient care
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to operate x-ray equipment and administer local anesthesia
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
