Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including patient screening, education, and preventative treatments
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient experiences
• Maintain accurate medical histories and documentation
• Utilize digital tools such as digital x-rays and electronic records
• Support ongoing patient education and promote dental health
• Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene services in a modern, well-equipped practice
• Participate in ongoing education and mentorship programs to enhance skills
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on patient care and safety
• Perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds
• Attend training sessions as needed to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Nebraska dental hygienist license and appropriate degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR certification
• Strong communication skills and a desire to grow clinically
• Experience with digital scanners, Diagnodent, Velscope, and electronic medical records is preferred
