About the role
Traveling Dental Hygienist based in New Orleans.
Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients.
- Performing scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, and related procedures under general dentist supervision.
- Offering same-day care to ensure excellent patient service.
- Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene practices.
- Assessing dental conditions, reviewing medical histories, and guiding patients through treatment processes.
- Assisting with dental and periodontal charting, taking and filing x-rays, and following all regulations and standards.
Qualifications and skills
- Current state Dental Hygienist license.
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized organizations, including a hands-on skills assessment.
Pay
- $50–$54/hour plus uncapped production bonus.
- $5,000 sign-on bonus.
