About the role
AMC seeks a Part-Time Dental Hygienist for Healdsburg/Windsor.
Responsibilities
- Educates patients regarding dental procedures, home care and post-op instructions.
- Maintains and reinforces instrument sterilization and operatory disinfection and barrier control.
- Documents procedures in patient charts.
- Reviews patient’s health histories.
- Provides comprehensive periodontal care to patients including scaling, root planning, prophylaxis and education.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of accredited Dental Hygienist program.
- Registered dental hygienist license, x-ray license, and current CPR certification.
- One year experience in Dental Office or Clinic preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Wisdom/EPIC EHR skills a plus.
- Sensitivity to the needs and situations of a multi-cultural, low income population and a desire to work within this population.
Benefits
Positions at AMC are benefitted at .75 FTE and above (30-32 hours).
Pay
$60.00 - $65.00 per hour DOE
