About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team, focusing on preventive dental procedures and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Perform services such as prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying cavity preventatives like fluoride and sealants
- Review and update patient dental histories
- Record treatments accurately and maintain patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA
- Assist dentists as needed, including administering local anesthetics where permitted
- Support the dental team to deliver optimal patient care
Requirements
- Degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Ability to travel between locations is preferred
