About Concerned Dental Care of Port Jefferson

Located in Port Jefferson Station, our modern practice features 8 fully equipped operatories, digital workflows, and a collaborative, multi-specialty environment. We provide a full range of services including general, cosmetic, restorative, orthodontic, endodontic, periodontic, and oral surgery care. Our team is known for creating a welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused experience where hygienists are supported, respected, and able to deliver high-quality care without feeling rushed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term care
• Capture and interpret digital x-rays
• Identify periodontal and restorative needs and collaborate with the dentist
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and thorough assessments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance
• Create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program (required)
• Active New York State dental hygiene license and CPR certification (required)
• 1+ year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome
• Local anesthesia certification (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused

Schedule

Part-Time: Wednesday - Friday (Port Jefferson)

Optional: Add 1-2 days at Smithtown, Farmingville, or Richmond Hill for full-time hours

Pay

Starting at $48/hour + monthly incentive bonus
