Key Responsibilities
- Providing periodontal care, sealants, and preventative agents
- Performing expanded functions such as restorations and managing temporary crowns
- Taking and managing dental X-rays, charting, and maintaining accurate records
- Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and developing treatment plans
- Assisting providers during exams and ensuring infection control standards
- Supporting clinic efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Dental Hygiene License in WA or Limited License
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at a high proficiency level
- Knowledge of dental practices and hygiene concepts
- Strong manual dexterity, organizational skills, and ability to care for diverse patients
- Basic computer skills including electronic records
