Provides patient care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Assists with diagnostic procedures and supports the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient assessments and documentation
- Prepares patients for diagnostic tests and treatments
- Supports healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Administers medications and treatments as directed
- Maintains a sterile environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
- Current CPR certification
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
