Dental Hygiene Assistant

About the role

Mor Smiles is looking for a friendly, reliable, and patient-focused Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team and help us deliver an exceptional experience to every patient.

Responsibilities

• SUPPORT our hygienists chairside throughout the day
• SET UP and BREAK DOWN operatories for hygiene appointments
• STERILIZE instruments and MAINTAIN cleanliness standards
• TAKE radiographs (X-ray certification required)
• ASSIST with CHARTING and HYGIENE flow
• KEEP supplies ORGANIZED and stocked
• HELP patients FEEL comfortable, WELCOME, and cared for
• JUMP IN wherever needed to SUPPORT the flow of the practice

Requirements

• X-RAY certification required
• CPR/AED certification required
• Dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience preferred (but we will TRAIN the right person)
• RELIABLE, organized, and EAGER to learn
• POSITIVE, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• STRONG communication skills and a PATIENT-first mindset
• ABILITY to WORK efficiently in a BUSY environment
