Dental Hygiene Assistant

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Aid the doctor and hygiene team in providing care to the patient.
• Stay updated on existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives affecting the back-office experience.
• Maintain knowledge of lab materials and supplies.
• Build relationships with patients.
• Comply with OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to meet goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working as a Dental Hygiene assistant preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• X-ray certification required.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Denticon is preferred.

• 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:45am - 5:00pm.
