About the role
Remington College, a non-profit, non-traditional institution with high ethical standards, is seeking a dental professional to join the academic team at its Nashville Campus on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have some teaching experience and a passion for educating students training to become dental assistants.
Responsibilities
- Train students in your field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.
- Prepare lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
- Teach assigned courses, instruct and evaluate students, develop their skills, and encourage growth.
- Track student attendance, performance, and grades.
- Participate in administrative activities (e.g., faculty/staff meetings, in-service meetings).
- Participate in graduation ceremonies as assigned.
- Engage regularly in continuing professional development activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least three (3) years of practical work experience as a dental assistant or dentist.
- Professional certification/licensure as required by state or national licensing agency.
