Dental Assistants

About the role

NaphCare is hiring experienced Dental Assistants to join our team at the Wyoming Department of Corrections - Wyoming Women's Center facility located in Lusky, WY. NaphCare is a family owned, healthcare technology company that has been delivering high quality healthcare to correctional facilities across the nation for over 35 years. We partner with correctional facilities to provide proactive, patient-focused healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
• Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
• Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
• Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
• Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
• Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
• Develop all routine radiographs

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Maintain the proper training and unrestricted certification as a Dental Assistant
• 1 year of dental experience in healthcare preferred
• A current CPR card

Pay

Pay rates range from $20.90 - $22.00 per hour based on shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.
