Dental Assistant Trainee (On-the-Job Training Certificate Program)

The On-the-Job Trained Dental Assistant Certificate Program is a comprehensive, structured training initiative designed to prepare individuals for entry-level dental assisting roles. This program combines didactic instruction with hands-on clinical experience, allowing participants to develop the technical skills, knowledge, and competencies required in a clinical dental setting. The next program is scheduled to start in the first week of December. Participants will complete a phased training program that includes classroom learning, supervised clinical practice, and competency-based patient care experience. Program Responsibilities Participants are expected to: Attend all scheduled training sessions and clinical assignmentsActively engage in learning and skill development activitiesDemonstrate professionalism, reliability, and adherence to clinical protocolsSuccessfully complete all required competencies and evaluationsComply with all organizational policies and patient care standards Minimum Requirements Commitment to full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)Ability to meet physical and clinical demands of a dental settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn and perform in a fast-paced clinical environmentAbility to travel to multiple sites in surrounding towns if needed.
