Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating patient medical records and vital signs
- Performing complete X-ray procedures and managing electronic dental records
- Conducting periodontal charting and preparing instruments and materials for exams
- Providing preventative periodontal care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and assisting in infection control protocols
- Supporting orthodontic procedures, including record collection and appliance handling
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and performing other assigned duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GEDEFDA certification within 90 days of employment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) at a high proficiency level
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
- Manual dexterity, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with dental and office software
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days
