Dental Assistant - Spring Dental Claremore

Duties

• Exposes dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Records treatment information in patient records.
• Takes and records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Cleans teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Applies a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricates temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instructs patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pours, trims, and polishes study casts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dental assisting preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
