About the role
We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a patient-centered dental practice that prioritizes compassionate care and exceeding patient expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the doctor chairside during procedures with appropriate materials and instruments
- Preparing treatment rooms, ensuring proper stock, cleanliness, and setup
- Documenting patient notes, consents, medical clearances, and prescriptions accurately
- Assisting in radiograph procedures while adhering to safety protocols
- Managing patient records and releasing them as needed
- Educating patients, including parents of children, on proper dental care
- Following universal precautions and OSHA guidelines
- Assisting with treatment plans, charges, and discounts
Requirements
- Minimum one year of dental assisting experience
- Texas State Board Dental Assistant License
- CPR certification
- Willingness to work Saturdays and travel to Terrell
