Dental Assistant - PRN
EndoArt in Rohnert Park is seeking a talented PRN dental assistant to join our busy specialty practice focused on Endodontics. We aim to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments and post-op visits
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with payment procedures
- Facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- At least 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma
- Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
- Active state radiology license (if required by law)
