Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and calmly with parents and patients regarding treatment needs based on the prescribed plan.
- Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms are obtained.
- Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
- Perform general housekeeping and restocking tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
- CPR certification required.
- Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
- One to two years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
