Dental Assistant Lead
Position Summary
NeighborHealth is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant Lead. Under the supervision of the Administrative Director and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Dental Assistant Lead is expected to perform all the essential duties and responsibilities of the Dental Assistant, as well as administrative responsibilities assigned by the Administrative Director, and as needed by the Dental department.
What You'll Do
- Participates in direct patient care activities as directed by a Dentist, as well as orders and puts away supplies to maintain par levels to meet department needs.
- Promotes a sense of “teamwork” through demonstration of self-direction and self-motivation, solves problems independently or knows when to seek consultation.
- Acts as a resource and role model to staff.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Dental Assistant Certification
- Minimum of 1 year as a Dental Assistant with at least 6 months at NeighborHealth
- Mandatory skills in addition to demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary
Starting at $24.15 up to $36.50 based on experience
