About the role

We're hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs. This is a leadership role without leaving clinical practice, designed for dental assistants who want to keep practicing during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays. When you teach here, you're shaping careers in a mission-driven organization focused on accessible healthcare education.

Schedule

• Saturdays, 7:00am – 6:15pm (breaks included)
• Teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability
• New cohorts run continuously year-round — as one 12-week program wraps, the next begins

Pay

$28–$30/hr, depending on experience

Gainesville, FL (In-Person)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
• Coach students during hands-on lab practice
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience (EFDA required)
• Completed or willing to complete 8 hours of CE
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
• Able to commute to location(s)
