Denver Dental Assistant School - Aurora is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
• Coach students during hands-on lab practice
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience if you’re certified
• 5+ years of experience if you aren’t
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
• Able to commute to location(s)

Skills

• Prior teaching or mentoring experience (nice‑to‑have)
• Dentrix familiarity (nice‑to‑have)
• Leadership background (nice‑to‑have)

Pay

$31 – $33/hr depending on experience

Schedule

Saturdays, 7:00 am – 6:30 pm (breaks included). Note: teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
