Dental Assistant - Impact Oral Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Impact Oral Surgery. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality care while maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and calmly with parents and patients regarding treatment needs based on the prescribed treatment plan.
• Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms are obtained.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs during examinations and treatments.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatments rendered using both electronic and paper dental records and forms.
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Trained by an accredited Dental Assistant school.
• One or more years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
