About the role
Join our busy dental practice as a Dental Assistant, responsible for supporting dentists and hygienists to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures, managing instruments and patient comfort
- Preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining cleanliness
- Capturing dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
- Updating patient records accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Adhering to infection control and OSHA standards
- Assisting with appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification and X-ray certification
Skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
