Dental Assistant FT

About the Role

Premier Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team. You will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients and perform light administrative duties. We have a small team, so each member is cross-trained to assist in every department. If you have a positive attitude, love dentistry, and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would love to have you join our team.

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Our Team

• One Lead Dentist (experienced)
• One Associate Dentist
• One Periodontist
• One Office Manager
• Two FT Lead Front Desk Coordinators
• Two FT Registered Dental Hygienists (a few temps on call)
• Two FT Dental Assistants
• One FT Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in the state of Ohio (required)
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification (preferred but not required)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency—charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction, and feedback
