Dental Assistant - EFDA

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Aid the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Stay informed about new technologies and clinical initiatives affecting the back office.
• Maintain inventory of lab materials and supplies.
• Build rapport with patients.
• Comply with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as necessary.
• Take, expose, and develop high-quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team's achievement of business objectives.
• Create a safe and secure environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an EFDA.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Other certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA, or RDAEF may be required by your state.
• Experience with dental software systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar is preferred.
