Dental Assistant, CF, Sierra Conservation Center, Jamestown
About the role
Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, Correctional Facility (CF), and/or Supervising Dental Assistant, CF, and the clinical direction of the Dentist, CF, the Dental Assistant, CF performs supportive dental procedures under the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Dental Board of California Dental Practice Act, and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Inmate Dental Services Program (IDSP) policies and procedures. The Dental Assistant, CF assists in the related work of a dental office, maintains order and supervises the conduct of inmates and directs their duties, and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property.
Responsibilities
- Perform supportive dental procedures under the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Dental Board of California Dental Practice Act

Qualifications
- Possess a valid Dental Assistant license issued by the Dental Board of California
- Ability to perform supportive dental procedures in accordance with established guidelines and regulations
