Dental Assistant (Baton Rouge)

The Role

Healthy Smiles LLC in Baton Rouge, LA is now hiring experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistants to join our talented and dedicated team. Our DA needs to have a passion for caring, excellent customer service, and the ability to assist with administrative tasks. Moreover, the DA should be a team player and well-organized with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist
• Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
• Charting during the dental examination
• Taking and processing X-rays
• Sterilizing and maintaining instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area
• Setting up and breaking down operatories
• Aiding with supply inventory and ordering
• Maintaining a clean and professional office environment
• Aiding with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
• Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
• Working as part of a team with emphasis on communication

Qualifications

• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant license (required)
• Radiology License (required)
• Valid CPR License
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Customer Service experience
