Dental Assistant

About the role

Buckhead Smile Center is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join their growing team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Aid doctors chairside during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and manage patient flow
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Provide educational guidance to patients regarding treatments and post-operative care
• Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, clear aligner, and surgical procedures
• Perform expanded functions (EFDA duties) when certified and authorized by state regulations
• Support sterilization and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience required
• EFDA certification preferred
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred
• Experience with digital dentistry and iTero scanners is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
