Dental Assistant

United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their growing team in the Huntington area. They are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist during various treatment procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
• Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
• Support patient flow and provider efficiency
• Provide education on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out

Requirements

• Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Dental radiology certification (if required by state)
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Preferred: EFDA Certification (where applicable), Coronal Polishing Certification, Sealant Certification, Experience with digital radiography, Experience with dental software and electronic health records, Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments, Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)

Pay

Compensation range: $20 - 25 per hour
