Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist during various dental procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before and after use
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as necessary
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate information entry
• Provide patients with instructions for post-operative and general oral care
• Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
• Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
• Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and dental software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient care
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and time management abilities
