Dental Assistant
About the role
As a Full Time Dental Assistant at Collier Hills Dental, you will join a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality clinical, business, and operational services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Select and set up instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
- Perform 4 handed dental assisting duties
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant experience in a general dental practice
- Experience in EFDA (Emergency Dental First Aid)
- Experience in fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
- Experience assisting with endodontics, oral surgery, basic and major restorative cases, implants (optional)
- Dentrix or Denticon experience (optional)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations, OSHA, and HIPAA
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Schedule
Monday & Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday: 6:45am-4:00pm
Thursday: 6:45am-2:00pm
Friday (Once Per Month): 6:45am-1pm
