About the role

Brien Family Dentistry is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selects and sets up instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
• Performs instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Carries out lab tasks as instructed
• Provides post-operative care instructions
• Maintains clean and stocked operatories

Requirements

• Active Louisiana dental assistant license
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday & Thursday: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm
