Charles Street Dental is a friendly, close-knit dental practice seeking a compassionate and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (required experience with scanning and fabricating temporaries)
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
  • Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
  • Prepare and manage patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Assist with taking dental impressions and preparing materials for dental appliances
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
  • Welcome patients and ensure patient comfort and help ease anxiety during treatments
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the practice
  • Other tasks as instructed

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland dental assistant EFDA license
  • Maryland Radiology license required
  • Must have ability to guide doctor through multiple chairs, friendly, patient centric personality, team player, timely and reliable
  • Dental Assistant training/school certification
  • 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday 7:15 AM-4:30 PM
  • 60-minute lunch breaks
  • Fridays off!

Pay

  • Competitive compensation $26.00 - $28.00 hourly rate based upon experience
