Dental Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Experienced Dental Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business, and operations professionals. This is a great general/family practice with a private practice feel, ideal for someone looking for a new place to call home, who enjoys rewarding challenges, and most of all providing great patient care.

Schedule

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday (one Friday per month): 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM
• 60-minute lunch breaks

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcome patients
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Requirements

• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• 3 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
• Preferably Expanded Functions
• Required experience with Packing Cord, Digital Scanner, Temporary Crowns/Bridges
• Clear Aligner/Ortho experience a plus
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
