Position Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for treatment and assisting the dentist and hygienist during procedures
- Sterilizing and setting up instruments and materials
- Providing patients with oral health instructions and postoperative care guidance
- Exposing dental diagnostic radiographs
- Recording treatment information in patient records
- Aiding in the preparation of treatment rooms and patients for treatment
- Collecting data for reports and other duties assigned
Requirements
- Maintains documentation and records in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality.

- Adheres to agency policies and procedures and all Federal and State regulations and local ordinances.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to prioritize inter- and cross-departmental collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Capability to use a broad range of technology
Education & Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant Certification or minimum of 2 years of experience
- Radiology and safety certification
- Passionate for compassionate, patient-centered care
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged period of sitting and or standing assisting the doctors.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
