About the Role
We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients to the dental office
- Preparing patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
- Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Scheduling appointments and post-op visits
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Facilitating and coordinating other office responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience as a dental assistant (specialty preferred)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma
- Active state X-Ray license (if required by law) preferred
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
- Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Adherence to OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Position Base Pay Range: $20 USD - $23 USD
