Your Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments and post-op visits
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Aid with payment procedures
Your Background
- At least 3+ years of proven experience as dental assistant, endodontic specialty is preferred
- DA II certification required
- Nitrous oxide certification required
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Strong computer and dental software skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high standard of patient care
- A high school diploma
- An active state radiology license (if required by law)
