Dental Assistant
DecisionOne Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in Lake in the Hills, IL.

Schedule
- Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (2 times a month)
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each patient.
- Take diagnostic records, including X-rays and impressions (as permitted by state regulations).
- Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and oral hygiene.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
- Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records.
- Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.
Requirements
- Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in Illinois.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
- Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent patient care.
- Orthodontic experience required.
Pay
$25–$28 per hour.
