Merit Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Sinking Spring, PA.
Responsibilities
- Aid dentists in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Perform expanded functions in accordance with Pennsylvania EFDA certification and state regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
- Support infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care.

$28-$35/hour
Schedule
Monday-Thursday 7:30-4pm, Friday 7:30am-1pm
