Dental Assistant
About the role
The Rockbridge Area Health Center seeks a full-time Dental Assistant to join their mobile dental team. The position offers a salary range of $18.20 - $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary care dental services to patients.
- Assist in the sterilization, preparation, maintenance, and inventory control of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Participate in Rockbridge Area Health Center's mobile dental program, promoting oral health throughout the community.
- Occasionally work at the Buena Vista location.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Basic Life Support Provider Certification at the time of hire is required.
- Completion of an Accelerated Dental Assisting Program or previous Dental Assisting experience is required.
- Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification is preferred.
- X-Ray Certification is preferred.
