About the role
Responsible for maintaining patient records, performing radiographs, periodontal charting, preparing instruments, and assisting with exams and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Providing preventive care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Maintaining nitrous oxide analgesia under supervision
- Education patients on oral hygiene and infection control
- Assisting in Orthodontics and performing lead duties as needed
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Dental Assistant Registration or EFDA certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) at level 10
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and oral health care
- Proficient in four-handed assisting, EDR, and MS Office
