Dental Assistant

About the role

PCHC’s Dental Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. You’ll work side-by-side with skilled providers, delivering exceptional care while helping improve the patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment
• Administer local anesthesia
• Manage dental instruments and equipment
• Record patient information and medical history
• Perform routine dental hygiene tasks
• Ensure sterilization and sanitation of dental instruments
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Support the overall patient experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program or completion of a DA prep course/certificate preferred
• Radiology license required, or must obtain within 6 months of employment

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills

• Proficiency with dental instruments and equipment

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Pay

• $20-$25 per hour

Schedule

• Part-Time (37 hours/week)
• Monday-Thursday, 7:15am-5:15pm
• Fridays + Weekends OFF
