Dental Assistant
About the role
You’ll take a lead role in welcoming and assisting patients with kindness while collaborating with other dental assistants to ensure efficient patient flow. You’ll use your knowledge and attention to detail as you work with x-rays, molds, and preparing lab scripts for dentists.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate dental/medical equipment
- Take digital radiographs, periapical, bitewing, and panoral x-rays
- Pour plaster models
- Set up and break down operatories for each procedure of the day
- Perform procedures for removal, cleansing, sterilization, and packaging of dental instruments following proper clinical protocols
- Prepare lab scripts for dentists, package cases, and call dental lab for pick up
- Maintain patient treatment records per clinic protocols in Electronic Dental Record
Requirements
- Successful completion of a dental assisting program or relevant training
- At least one year dental assisting experience in a general dentist practice preferred
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Computer, clerical, and data entry skills

Pay
Hourly Rate: $21.00 per hour based on a full-time, 40 hour work week.
Schedule
Available to work any shift Monday-Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
