Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Ensures the preparation, organization, and proper cleaning of the dental operatory before and after each patient visit.
• Performs direct patient care duties to support dental treatment as needed.
• Updates, completes, and maintains accurate patient dental charts in a timely manner.
• Provides chairside support to dental providers, including operating suction equipment, monitoring anesthesia, delivering instruments, and making impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
• Coordinates continuity of patient care and follow-up as required.

Requirements

• Completion of a Dental Assisting certificate or licensure program (typically up to one year in duration).
• Ability to obtain Washington State Dental Assistant licensure.
• Willingness to travel between work sites as needed.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
